Big Bang Documentation Privacy

Platform One operates this Big Bang documentation website. This notice applies only to docs-bigbang.dso.mil and the documentation it serves. It does not apply to software, Kubernetes clusters, services, or other environments deployed or operated by Big Bang users. Those environments are controlled by their respective operators and may have separate privacy, security, and data-handling practices.

Information Collection

The documentation interface does not include analytics or cross-site tracking and does not set cookies. It uses local and session browser storage for site preferences and interface state, including color preferences, tabs, announcements, version notices, and source display state. This storage is scoped to the documentation site and is not used for cross-site tracking.

External Destinations

This site links to external services, including the Big Bang repository, community Slack workspace, Platform One contact form, and cybersecurity reporting portal. When you follow an external link, that destination’s own privacy and data-handling practices apply. Review the applicable notice before providing information through an external service.
